Born along the banks of the Ohio River, Mitchell grew up in the picturesque, rolling hills of Cincinnati. At an early age his parents realized his prodigal plant identification and care taking skills, deciding to forgo formal education for the great opportunities provided by farming. Mitchell has an apt pallet for sweet corn and tomatoes, and can often be found perusing the local farmers markets.
